Dr. Jehannine Austin named as member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists

Congratulations to Dr. Jehannine Austin who has been named a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists. Dr. Austin is pioneering genetic counselling research by showing that genetic counseling has meaningful benefits for people and their families with psychiatric disorders.

An entity within The Royal Society of Canada, The College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists is Canada’s first national system of multidisciplinary recognition for the emerging generation of Canadian intellectual leadership.

The Members of the College are Canadians and Permanent Residents who, at an early stage in their career, have demonstrated a high level of achievement. The criteria for election is excellence.
