Interprofessional Education

Interprofessional health education prepares graduates for a patient centred, team-based approach to healthcare delivery, education and research.

Collaborating with UBC Health and the affiliated academic health programs, students participate in a number of unique opportunities and resources including:

  • UBC’s Interprofessional Health Mentors (HM) Program
  • UBC 23 24 Indigenous Cultural Safety Modules
  • Additional opportunities offered through UBC Health’s Interprofessional Education, including Patient and Community Voices, Collaborative Decision Making, iEthics, etc.
  • Rounds and educational seminars held by the Department of Medical Genetics, Hereditary Cancer Program, Child and Family Research Institute, BC Clinical Genomics Network and other departments within the hospital and university network.
